The movie “Alice Through the Looking Glass” has been the sequel waited to be released for a number of years. The movie is a continuation of the 2010 film “Alice in Wonderland” directed by James Bobin. Variety reported that the progress of filming a sequel was expected since December of 2012.
“Alice Through the Looking Glass” embarks a journey about Alice Kingsleigh, who comes across a difficult decision that will introduce her to a new path in life. After stumbling across Absolem, she encounters an irrational glimpse of a magical looking glass. Once discovering the harsh realities of the real world, Alice frustrates herself and goes back to her imagination in order to balance.
In the starting point, Alice, played by Mia Wasikowska, joins a new expedition. Later back in her hometown of England, her former fiance Hamish, played by Leo Bill, took possession over Alice’s dead father’s ship, seized over her mother’s old home and forcefully escorted Alice into a job option of his company.
Bobin claims that he couldn’t pass up the opportunity on filming a continuation of the “Alice in Wonderland.” Many actors and actresses are returning for this upcoming sequel. On January 21, 2014, it was officially declared that Sacha Baron Cohen will play the villain named “Time”, as well as Rhys Ifans who will play Zanik Hightopp, also known as the Mad Hatter’s father. Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway, and Alan Rickman are the prime returners of this movie.
The hour and 53 minute children’s literature movie is premiering on May 27, 2016.
