Hershey High School’s Spanish Club attended a performance by the Hispanic Flamenco Ballet on Tuesday, March 25th. The performance was held in Harrisburg at the Whitaker Center.

This trip was chaperoned by Spanish teacher Senora Snedeker and Spanish Club advisor Senor Frank. The opportunity to attend was originally available for 15 students from Spanish Club or Spanish NHS, but after high interest was observed, it was opened to all HHS students.
The show featured music, short films, and a variety of dances representing Hispanic culture from several different countries and perspectives. Students even had the opportunity to join the performers on stage and learn a dance sequence. Hershey High School students had 6 interactive tickets total. Three were offered for students to learn Flamenco, and three were offered to teach Salsa.
Six HHS students chose to participate, and the Flamenco skills of two students were recognized who had the privilege of dancing at the front of the stage with the performers.

The attendees went to lunch at Tres Hermanos afterwards.
