
The Trojans defeated Palmyra 9-1 on February 19th at the Klick Lewis Arena in the 2024-25 Central Pennsylvania Interscholastic Hockey League semi-finals.
Hershey scored the night’s first goal four minutes into the match, thanks to senior Tyler Lucas, setting the tone for the rest of the game.
By the end of the first half, Hershey was in the lead from 3-0, leaving Palmyra behind. Lucas and sophomore Cole Umberger carried the goals for the first period of the match just three minutes apart.
Five minutes into the second period, junior Blake Umberger scored the fourth goal, which made it difficult for Palmyra to catch up.
With 13 seconds left of the third period, Palmyra managed to score a goal, but Hershey was far into the lead, ensuring the title of CPIHL champions.
The next game will be on Wednesday, February 26th, at 8:15 pm located in the Hersheypark Arena, against Elizabethtown for the championship night.
