Two artists, Daniel Caesar and Rex Orange County are hinting at a collaboration to release a brand new song this Friday, February 14th called “Rearrange My World / There’s a Field (That’s Only Yours)”.
Daniel Caesar, born Ashton Dumar Norwill Simmonds is a renowned singer and songwriter known for R&B. His debut album, “Freudian” (2017), collected multiple Grammy nominations. Caesar’s music focuses on love, religion, self growth, heartbreak, and faith.
Alexander James O’Connor or better known as Rex Orange County, is a multi-skilled singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist known for his unique blend of hip-hop, jazz, and bedroom pop. He gained popularity in 2017 through his collaborations with Tyler, the Creator on the album “Flower Boy.”
As of now, there is no official information except for Rex teasing his fans on Instagram with a photo of Caesar drawing “DC+ROC 02.14”. It’s obvious that DC stands for Daniel Caesar, and ROC stands for Rex Orange County and the date 2.14 (February 14). There was no mention of a song or a title, but fans assume that these two are dropping a song this upcoming Friday.
