In honor of Valentine’s Day, Dunkin’ has released its new Valentine’s Day-themed menu.
The main items are two heart-shaped donuts: the Cupid’s Choice Specialty Donut and the Brownie Batter Specialty Donut. These donuts were released on January 29 and have quickly become favorites for Dunkin’ fans.
The Cupid’s Choice Specialty Donut is filled with cream and topped with strawberry icing and Valentine’s Day-themed sprinkles. The Brownie Batter Specialty Donut features a brownie batter-flavored cream filling and chocolate icing with the same sprinkles.
The Cupid’s Choice Specialty Donut wasn’t that special. While it was good, it tasted similar to other donuts that Dunkin’ sells. Rating: 6/10
The Brownie Batter Specialty Donut tastes exactly like a brownie. The chocolate was overwhelming, but it was overall good. Rating: 8/10
Additionally, through February 18, all filled donuts will come in a heart shape. All donuts with sprinkles will now have the same Valentine’s Day-themed sprinkles featured on the new special donuts.
Despite these new additions, fans have expressed disappointment with the lack of new drinks. Last year, Dunkin’ released a Pink Velvet Macchiato for their Valentine’s Day menu. However, they did not release any this year. Fans hope that Dunkin’ will have limited edition drinks next year to pair with the Valentine’s Day donuts.
