As the 2024 holiday season approaches, Cocoa Packs is holding its annual toy drive, Cocoa Packs Presents, for families in Derry Township who are enrolled in their food assistance program. Cocoa Packs is an organization founded by Christine Drexler to provide nourishment and support to local children and their families in need. Cocoa Packs Presents brings holiday cheer by creating a unique shopping experience for the children. The initiative is made possible by the collective effort of the Derry Township community and businesses. This year, the 2024 Toy Distribution is being held on Thursday, December 19th. Here’s how you can get involved:
- Start a Collection Box in Your Organization
- One simple way to give back is by placing a collection box at your workplace, church, or any other community group. Gather gifts from your friends and family. These items will directly support families in need and ensure that children in the area experience the magic of the season.
- Shop from the Amazon Wish List
- Cocoa Packs has created an easy way to give back through its Amazon Wish List, which can be found on its website. You can purchase toys, books, and other gifts from the list and have them sent directly to the organization. It’s a quick and simple way to ensure your donation goes to a child who needs it most.
- Make a Financial Donation
- Financial donations are always appreciated, and Cocoa Packs is allowed to purchase gifts, food, and supplies for families in need. Donate on Venmo to @CocoaPacks-Inc and include the word “Presents” in the note.
- You can also send a check to Cocoa Packs Inc., P.O. Box 613, Hershey, PA 17033. Just include “Presents” in the memo line to make sure your contribution goes to your intended cause.
