HHS Girls Basketball Competes Against Mechanicsburg Area Senior High School on Friday, December 13th

The HHS Girls Basketball team will hit the road this Friday, December 13th for a matchup against Mechanicsburg Area High School. The game will take place at the Mechanicsburg High School Gymnasium, with tip-off scheduled for 7 pm.

The girls are coming off a close loss to Lower Dauphin, just short of one three-pointer. The final score was 32-35.

This marks the varsity girls’ second game and first official away game of the 2024-2025 season. Last year, the girls faced tough losses to Mechanicsburg twice, losing 14-73 and 26-70. Although those losses left the team feeling defeated, they hope to have an exciting comeback this Friday.

After this match, they will return home to HHS on Tuesday December 17th, to play against Mifflin County High school in what promises to be another exciting match.

Addi Sheppard is a reporter for the Hershey High School Broadcaster. She is a junior and this is her first year on the Broadcaster staff. Addi is a dancer at the Hershey School of Dance and also enjoys spending time with her family. Additionally, she works as a shift leader at Playa Bowls Hershey.
