Taylor Valoczki is a senior and a key defensive field hockey player at Hershey High School. She’s been playing field hockey since 4th grade and is a PA Revs Field Hockey Club team member.
Valoczki plans to attend Stevenson University and major in nursing. She is on the Distinguished Honor Roll and received the Academic Achievement Award for community service and highway safety.
Her advice as an upperclassman is to “Make the most out of everything, go to events, and have fun because it truly does fly by.”
Valoczki is not just a player but a captain. She leads on and off the field and is very welcoming towards new players.
“The first person I go to for help is Taylor,” said sophomore Emma Wyckoff.
She’s described as always positive, and she brings energy to every practice and game.
Taryn Valoczki, Taylor’s little sister, said, “I’m so happy I was able to play two seasons with her. At the senior walk, I finally realized how quick things are coming to an end and how sad I am to see her go.”
Hershey Field Hockey’s season is not over yet. HFH is on its way to the States after winning against Elizabethtown on Saturday, October 26.
