One of the world’s most loved musicals, Hamilton, will be performed at the Hershey Theater from November 26th to December 8th. Tickets are now on sale on the Hershey Theatre and Ticketmaster websites.
Hamilton depicts a true historical event with an artist’s interpretation. It is based on the lie of one of America’s lesser-known founding fathers.
This musical teaches the audience about the birth of America through the story of Alexander Hamilton and those around him.
The message is a very good life lesson for all people to really consider. Hamilton depicts the power of family, love, and friendship in helping a person build a strong foundation for personal success.
This musical has won 11 Tony awards, including Best Musical, Best Original Score, Best Direction of a Musical, and many more. Additionally, it won an Emmy in 2021 and a Grammy in 2016.
The show took writer Lin-Manuel Miranda years to write. Miranda explained, “This was no overnight success. It took me a year to write the second song in the show, ‘My Shot.’”
The new cast of the upcoming Hamilton consists of Jared Dixion playing Arron Burr. Jacob Guzman as John Laurens/Philip Hamilton. Bryson Bruce as Marquis De Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson, and Ebrin R Stanley as Hercules Mulligan/James Madison.
