With the winter sports season all wrapped up, a multitude of HHS athletes have passed statistical milestones in their careers.
Dylan Painter
Arguably the most impressive feat of the all boys basketball season was senior Dylan Painter, who scored his 1000th point for HHS on January 15th away at Red Land High School. Painter netted a season high of 43 points for the Trojans against Palmyra on January 27th. Painter ended his career at Hershey with 1,237 points including 305 free throw makes. Painter also chose Villanova University to continue his basketball career.
Cassie Zugay
Sophomore, Cassie Zugay, has proved to be an offensive threat on the basketball court the past 2 seasons for the Lady Trojans. This season Zugay passed the 200 point mark, scoring a season high of 25 points on December 29th, 2015 at home against Middletown. Zugay also took home player of the week honors on February 10th, 2016.
Shyanne Gaston
Senior girls basketball player, Shyanne Gaston, surpassed 300 points this season. Gaston finished her career at HHS with 86 free throw makes.
Jack Kushner
Hershey High School senior, Jack Kushner, commits to Ohio State. Kusher impressed his team this year in boys swimming. Kushner timed 1.47.92 in the 200 freestyle and 48.73 in the 100 freestyle. Both were personal records.
Luke Hedrick
Freshman, Luke Hedrick, impressed his team in his first year of varsity basketball, passing the 100 point mark this season. Hedrick dropped a season high 16 points on January 22nd at home vs. Cedar Cliff.
