Whether it’s a cool or warm summer day, an indoor or outdoor water park would be the perfect solution. Today, July 28th is National Water Park day!
Being able to enjoy the nice weather outside while sliding down some water slides is the perfect way to refresh yourself on this day. Or perhaps you’d like to relax inside while floating around the lazy River.
National water park day was founded by the Kalahari Resorts and Conventions on July 28, 2017. This national holiday was established to celebrate the joy and excitement of water parks all around the world. Doing so, Kalahari resorts aims to bring attention to the thrills, relaxation, and family-friendly entertainment that water parks provide.
One way to celebrate this national holiday is by going out and enjoying a nice day at the waterpark. There are tons of great options located in Pennsylvania for those who enjoy these activities!
One of the Waterparks that people may enjoy is, as mentioned before, the Kalahari resorts. They offer both outdoor activities for those nice summer days, or indoor entertainment for those gloomy summer days. Within this resort they have thrilling water slides of all sorts: lazy rivers, wave pools, and even a flow rider surfing experience.
Another good option is located right here in Hershey: Hershey Park, the boardwalk. The boardwalk includes thrilling water rides that’ll certainly cool you down. They also have a lazy River for those who just want to relax, or for those who want to have little ones and want them to enjoy without worrying about them getting hurt. Alongside this, they also have this structure called the East Coast Waterworks. The East Coast Waterworks includes smaller water slides, fountains, water cannons, and it’s very shallow, perfect for toddlers.
For those who are seeking maybe a more of a nature oriented experience, the Camelbeach Mountain Waterpark, located in Tannersville, is a great choice. This waterpark has one of the best high-speed water slides. The triple venom slides has three heart pounding drops. In addition to this, Camelbeach offers a wave pool that stimulates ocean waves.
In celebration of National Waterpark Day, Kalahari, The Boardwalk, and Camelbeach are all great places to spend your day if you want both to cool off in the waters and enjoy some thrilling water slides and rides.
