Over the past few weeks, The Hershey Challenger Baseball League began their spring practices at Hershey baseball fields. The team is a combination of students with all disabilities, and no sign-up is necessary.
The team plays weekly on Sundays at 1 pm at the Cocoa Ave. baseball fields in Hershey. Adults will pair the Challenger teammates with another player and get the fun started! Anyone, from any age, can participate as a buddy on the field or come out and support the team.
Sunday, June 2nd is their Annual Challenger Day! Community members are asked to come out and support this team of amazing individuals. No need to buy tickets, just show up and cheer them on! Along with the game itself, there will be food and a chance to get autographs from the players on the Challenger Team.
