Hershey High School’s Spanish Honor Society will be hosting a pulsera (bracelet) sale during lunches from December 4th-15th.
The sale benefits The Pulsera Project, which promotes fair-trade employment amongst Central American artisans. The project buys hand-woven bracelets and bags from over 200 artisans in Nicaragua and Guatemala, and then sells them in American schools for $7 and $15 respectively.
This is the club’s second year sponsoring the sale since COVID, and according to teacher advisors for the Spanish Honor Society, Mrs. MacNicol and Mrs. Clouser, the project will hopefully continue for many years to come.
