Hershey High School’s Theatre program announced Clue as their Fall play on August 31st, 2023.
The theme for the second annual Cabaret Night was also announced today as “Once Upon A Time”.
Clue is a 1980’s film based on the board game of the same name. The story follows six guests, all referred to by pseudonymns, who were invited to a mansion for unknown reasons by a man named Mr. Boddy. During their time at the mansion, six people get murdered, and the guests frantically try to find out who among them commited the crimes.
The play was announced by directors Michelle O’Brien and Josh Yentsch at a meeting held immediately after school in the auditorium.
In the week leading up to the announcement, hints for the play and cabaret theme were posted daily on the HHS Theatre Instagram account.
Auditions for this thriller will be held on September 14th.
HHS’ Clue will open November 17th at 7pm with an additional showing at the same time on the 18th. The date for the Cabaret Night will be announced in the near future.
