Hershey High School celebrates Mini-THON with spirit week

HHS celebrates Mini-THON with a spirit week from March 6th to March 9th.

These spirit days were created to kick off this year’s Mini-THON, which will take place on March 10th. All outfits must follow the school’s dress code.

The themes for the week are as follows:

Monday 3/6-pajama day
Tuesday 3/7-gold out
Wednesday 3/8-favorite jersey
Thursday 3/9-Mini-THON colors (red, blue, green, and yellow)

On Friday the 10th, students will not have school and are encouraged to attend Mini-THON. To enter, students will need to raise at least $50 on Donor Drive. However, if more money is raised, students can gain access to special activities. The event will take place in the HHS Gym/Cafeteria from 10am-6pm.

Your donation will support the student journalists of Hershey High School. Your contribution will allow us to purchase a new mirrorless digital camera and telephoto lens.

The camera we are working toward is the Sony a7 II Mirrorless Camera. It retails for about $1000 at B&H Photo and Video and comes with a kit lens, a 28-70mm. The lens is a big telephoto suitable for event and sports coverage, Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 DG DN OS Sports Lens (Sony E). This lens retails for about $1500 at B&H Photo and Video.
