Stranger Things Season 4 Review

Out of all of the Stranger Things seasons I’ve enjoyed so far, season four is where it’s at. Season four of Stranger Things was announced to release in two parts because of its episodes’ run times and the ambitions that the Duffer Brothers have for the show.

In this new season, the Hawkins kids are no longer kids, but high-schoolers with experience in supernatural investigations. There is a new mystery to solve, but the crew’s process of solving this threat is satisfying to watch.

The villain Vecna has terrifying power, and it got me rooting for the heroes to end it once and for all.

One of my favorite parts of Stranger Things are the team-ups shown. Since season three, Dustin and Steve have been my favorite duo. Now, they have introduced an interesting new duo: Robin and Nancy, who are polar opposites. These two work together perfectly and figure out a way to defeat Vecna.

Some episodes had me on the edge of my seat, hoping my favorite characters would make it out alive. The adrenaline I felt whenever it came down to the final scene made me feel like I had just finished a marathon.

The acting all around is amazing, the music is immaculate, and the writing is perfect.

I must give the most kudos to Sadie Sink (Max Mayfield) and Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas Sinclair). Their acting is phenomenal this season, and they really got me feeling emotional.

I can’t wait for Season Five.

I give Season 4 of Stranger Things a 9.5/10
