First Date Ideas
June 3, 2022
Have you ever wondered what to do and where to go for your first date? The first date is always something that teenagers and even some adults get really excited for; except the fact that choosing the first date location may not be as easy as the movie’s details. As they say, first impressions are the most important. Well, here are some fun first date ideas and some ideas you should avoid.
Fancy
If you really want to go all out and impress you date, here are some fancy date ideas:
- Go all out in the featured restaurants in Hershey
- Houlihans is located just blocks away from the school in downtown Hershey
- Rated 4.4 stars out of 5 on Google Reviews
- According to their website, they have just what you need, “light or comfort food” on their menu
Sport
Do you want to go somewhere a bit more open, carefree, and yet still have a competitive vibe? Bowling Alley down in Palmyra is just just the right place for you and your partner.
- This place is rated 4.2 stars out of 5 on Google Reviews
- They even offer the Dutchman Bowling Tournament which you can learn more about on their website
Now that you may have some ideas on where to take your partner out, here are some quick tips on where not to go.
First of all, I recommend not going to the movies on a first date unless you’re really comfortable with the person you are taking. Until then, you’ll both be just sitting in a dark room, unable to talk to each other.
Trust me, I love Starbucks and Dunkin’ Donuts just as much as the next person (just maybe don’t take them there for the first date.) You’ll be doing starter questions and get-know-you type of conversation in a crowded room with strangers around that could be listening to your conversation. Besides, you can’t exactly talk freely or comfortably considering you’re inside where people may hear you.
Now that we got what not to do for first dates here, it’s time to earn that confidence to ask that one person out. You can do this. Just be yourself!
