Why Saving America From Donald Trump is All Too Necessary

Donald Trump is not fit for either the office he seeks, the party he represents, or the women he speaks to.

Donald Trump, a 70 year old real-estate mogul, presumed billionaire, and Republican nominee, has quite the opinion. This 2016 election season has been interesting to watch to say the least. We have seen a man depicted as a “successful businessman”, who has ironically filed for bankruptcy four times, run for the most important office in the country– and yes, people support him. Donald Trump has changed the Republican party and mistreats and disrespects people with a disgusting self-love.

There is no doubt in anyone’s mind that Donald Trump has made an impact on the Republican party. To some people it’s been positive but to others the rise of Donald Trump has been very negative. Either way, there is no debate that the Republican party will have a hard time returning to a party of free trade, democracy building around the world, and at least modest immigration reform.

It is almost hard to imagine establishment Republicans, waiting in the wings at the RNC thinking that Trump’s candidacy was a fever waiting to break, finding a welcome among the delegates that made the party their’s in Cleveland.

With cheers for Mr. Trump and other speakers who positioned themselves as opponents of the party’s norm, Donald Trump has not only dismayed many at his choices in the political world but also in the business world.

And Donald Trump’s business skills, which he claims to be so skilled at, has caused him to treat his employees terribly. Although those employees may have different things to say about Trump, one statement is repeated: Donald loves Donald. One ex-employee, Randal Pinkett, explained Trump’s daily routine. It included leafing through a newspaper with yellow sticky notes. The sticky notes marked articles written about him, and that’s all he cared about. He disregarded the rest.

Pinkett later spoke about his life-changing experience working for Trump to the Guardian. “His identity is wrapped around being a winner. If you challenge him, or if he’s put in a losing position, now you take Donald out of his comfort zone,” Pinkett said.

In interviews with twelve other ex-Trump employees, not one denied the mistreatment of women in the workplace or Trump’s “all about me” attitude. Actually, they emphasized it.

“I don’t think it’s possible to quantify the size of his ego,” said Barbara Res, a former Trump Organization executive vice-president in the 1980s. “It’s too big.”

If someone still supports Donald Trump after reading this, there must be reasons the media and general public is unaware of. Trump is a racist, homophobic, xenophobic, self-loving, woman-disgracing 70 year old man who endorses white supremacists. Although the support behind him is tremendous, he can and will be stopped. This man is unpresidential, uninformed and irresponsible.

Help stop Trump and vote for any other candidate running against him.
