Orange is the New Black is quite the explicit drama, yet it has captured the attention of its millions of viewers. In the series, Piper Chapman (Taylor Schilling) is sent to a women’s prison after being caught with a money-filled suitcase belonging to a drug dealer. The show explores the bonds, humor, and terrors of living in such an environment. A serious outcast at first, Piper must learn how to survive in this new environment and attempt to befriend her fellow inmates. The show pays careful attention to how corruption, lack of funding, overcrowding and guard brutality affect the health and wellbeing of the prisoners. 3- Grey’s Anatomy (TV-14)

In this classic hospital drama/romance, the audience is introduced to the personal and professional lives of five surgical interns and their supervisors. Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo), an aspiring surgeon and daughter of one of the best surgeons, Dr. Ellis Grey, begins her life as a first-year resident (intern), at Seattle Grace Hospital. As the show has recently began its 14th season, it would be smart to begin watching now.
