Hershey Trojans Crush Palmyra Cougars

On Tuesday, April 4, 2017, Hershey High School boys volleyball faced Palmyra High School. Two hours and five matches later, HHS beat PHS 3-2.

Starting on the court for the first game were HHS seniors Moses Kresh, Jack Quillen, and Eric Krieger along with juniors Jordan Spidle, Max Greeting, and Tim Zieber. Ending the first match in a loss, HHS came back and won the second match.

After losing the third match and winning the fourth, HHS and PHS played a fifth match to break the tie.

HHS went into the game with a record of 3-1. They left the game with a record of 4-1.

Nick Martin, captain of the team, along with Krieger, said, “I think we really played like a team tonight. We faced some adversity and had to come back after being down 2-1, but we found a way to push back and pull out a big team win.”
