It may have been quiet outside early this morning, but inside the walls of Hershey High School it was anything but silent.

Hershey High School students and staff gathered bright and early Friday morning for this week’s edition of ABC27’s “Friday Morning Lights.”

HHS marching band and cheerleaders amped up school spirit for tonight’s 74th annual Cocoa Bean Bowl versus Milton Hershey, which will be held at Milton Hershey’s football field tonight at 7 pm. To get both perspectives on the “Bean” rivalry, ABC27 news also highlighted the Milton Hershey team during the television feature.

ABC27 interviewed science fair winner Alan Hwang and memory team champion Erica Wang, and spoke to HHS Theatre representatives Cara McErlean and Kodiak Thompson about their accomplishments at the Hershey Theatre Apollo Awards last spring.

The program was anchored by ABC27 reporters Brett Thackara and Ali Lanyon. A link to the broadcast can be found here.
