Disney’s hit show that introduced the world to Baby Yoda has just been announced to release a second season on October 30th, 2020.

Disney+ announced in a tweet that it’s Emmy nominated show, The Mandalorian, would have new episodes out at the end of October. Following the massive success of the first season, fans have eagerly been awaiting the next season in this instalment of the Star Wars franchise. 

Season two is set to have eight episodes, and pre-production on a potential third season began in April of 2020. Filming for the third season isn’t expected to be impacted by COVID-19, however, according to Screen Rant.
