Interview with Dr. O’Brien about Her Experience Getting Tested for COVID-19

Dr. Erin O’Brien was tested for coronavirus on March 18, 2020. The results came back positive on March 31, 2020. She noted having mild symptoms of COVID-19 when returning from a trip to New York City. These symptoms included low-grade fever, a cough, and a loss of taste and smell. Dr. O’Brien was interviewed before and after her diagnosis by Broadcaster reporter Maeve Reiter.

During the interview, she mentioned plasma donation to impact the fight against coronavirus (by providing antibodies) if someone has tested positive and recovered. Places to register for to donate plasma are Mount Sinai Hospital in New York and the American Red Cross
