The PIAA announced via Twitter Monday, March 23, 2020 that the start of spring sports and possible re-start of winter championships will be further postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This comes after Governor Tom Wolf’s announced a “stay home at home order” for six counties in Pennsylvania and the closure of schools for another two weeks.

There is not yet a determined date for when the sports will continue. This is all of the information the PIAA has released on the return of spring and possibly winter sports.
