Hershey Boys Soccer Defeats CD East

The Hershey Trojans defeated the Panthers of Central Dauphin East with a score of 3-0 on Tuesday, October 1st, 2019 at Hershey High School. 

Hershey’s first goal was a header goal scored by senior Alex Berger. The goal was off a free kick assisted by Jake Fisher early in the first half, bringing the score to 1-0.

Trojans second goal was another header scored by senior Nick Rizzo, during the second half. The goal was assisted by Cam Cooney. 

Making the game out of reach, sophomore Luke Hoover brought the score 3-0. The goal was assisted by Rizzo. 

A majority of the game was in Hershey’s offensive end. East was unable to counter any of Hershey’s opportunities. 

The Trojans finished their regular season with a final record of 10-3-2. The team is now heading to Districts, and their first game has yet to be determined.
